Fake Loius Vitton, but what about fake camera gear?

Actually, I know one or two fake photographers. They talk the talk well enough and have all the gear, but their photographs are carp. :eek:

LOL! we've seen quite a few of them pass through this site too.

They eventually get caught out tho, and some last a while, most don't last long.

I also remember a story from some US based tog about fake Nikon MB-D10 grips. He purchased what to most eyes looked exactly like an MB-D10, only to find out later on(after a side by side comparison) that his original purchase wasn't as original as it should have been.

Now the Chinese are onto faking flashes? I wonder if they've made an attempt at Nikon and or other brands too?

I love my fake Louis Vuitton handbag, but i would be cheesed off if i ended up with a fake flash, thanks for bringing it to our attention. I am contemplating buying one, and would never have thought about fake ones being offered .. :)
