OK. So you are on your wee way to Scotland for a holiday, and like most photographers you would like to take some photos while you are there. Perhaps a visit to Loch Ness and perchance a wonderful thing would happen and you get to photograph the elusive beast. The Loch Ness Monster, eh?
But pop on over to google and do a search for "Scotland's National Animal" and perhaps you might be seeking a different kinda creature to photograph whilst you are wandering the moors and highlands.
And if you feel so inclined come back here and tell us mere Aussies what you think of the results of your googling.

In that case, I vote for the Drop Bear to be our new national animal?

You'd have to be looking to photograph the Haggis Monster wouldn't you?

The lesser spotted haggis is always a popular (if elusive) target for photographers. Easily identified because they have one leg shorter than the other so they can run round hills more easily.
I'm Scottish, I know what I'm talking about here.
I actually only found out what the national animal of Scotland was a few years ago
Shows how much of our own culture we're actually taught. Sad.
