I am also back after an absence

Rick's newsletter lobbed at a time when I am ready to try harder to get my head around the threads and tags.
I originally joined in 2008 and have to admit I gave up on trying navigate the threads and tags and messages.

Time to persevere and roam around for a bit to see if I can make sense of it all.

Me- I am in Melbourne town and a ROFTTS (Retired old fart trending towards senility)

These days I shoot with the full frame Sony A99. Mostly with the Sony 70-300G and the Zeiss 24-70.

So far I have not come across like owners but if you are out there and I have not found you- please say "hi". john

Funny you mention the newsletter arriving at just the right time, chappo1, the same thing happened with me. Haven't been on the site for a long time but then a newsletter pops up in my inbox and "allacazam ipso facto!" I'm here checking out the threads as well :)
