Hi.
Thought I'd get this intro dealy out of the way considering I am a little appalling at them. I never know what to say. I guess I will just jump right in.
My name is Jessica. I am 26 and from Western Sydney. A stay home Mum. Been married for just over a year my husband Daniel. Together we have 3 amazing little kids. Flynn (3yo), Sawyer (18mo) and Harriet (6mo). They are probably my most photographed subjects much to their dismay. My cats are sometimes included. Suffice it to say, portrait photography is more where my interest lay.
My main aim with my photography is to learn what I can, so that I am able take photos to put on the walls in my house that wow my visitors. I mean, getting paid for something at some time would be swell, but I know I am no where near that league.
I am very much a beginner photographer. No lessons, I wouldn't even call myself "Youtube taught". All I have done is literally pick up my camera and shoot. Play around some and shoot some more. I may have Googled what aperture meant some time ago.
Most of the time my camera (Nikon D7000) is within a metre or so of where I am and just has my 50mm on it. I muck around a little with some macro. Trying to make 4 square macro flower collage for my daughters room at the moment, without much luck.
Annnnnd, now I'm out of ideas about what to write. Happy to answer questions in case I forgot anything. And very much looking forward to participating in the forum. (A baby that insists waking up all night ensures I have plenty of internet time) :)
