Newbie seeking advice!

Hi everyone :)

I'm just new to the site and am a little overwhelmed by the amount of information on here and how little I know!
I'm just beginning to take a keener interest in photography and have the opportunity to purchase some second hand equipment....am I able to list the items here to get some feedback and also round-about costs for the items? I don't want to be doing the wrong thing on my very first post...

the seller has advised me to make her an offer but I'm not sure where to start, google searches are providing fairly conflicting information as the items are fairly old.

Hi

You can list the items (as in details) but you cannot link to the actual ad where they are listed for sale. So you can tell us what make model etc only.

I would suggest listing them in the gear forum, not an intro thread cause many members don't even look at intro's and if you put them in the gear forum under the relevant brand, you are going to get feedback from people who use that brand, thus use that forum

Old 2nd hand gear can be an issue and you need to be careful.

As you live in FNQ I'd be very concerned about fungus etc. on camera gear.
