Just wondering what the general concensus is around here on ND filters...?
Was thinking about getting one soon, but I have no experience with them...

Why do you want to get one?
I have several graduated ND filters and have used them a couple of times. Problem with me is I do not shoot landscapes much and so I do not see a need for them. That said, I had cause to try them the other week to try to bring down the brightness in the sky. Not a satisfactory result but that was due to my lack of experience with them. I tend to compensate by doing it in post production but it is time consuming.

I've seen them being used in youtube vids to allow longer exposures etc, I plan on shooting landscapes/sunsets/rises so i was just curious if people think they are a worthy investment
or not...

Hi,
I recently received some good advice from William on filters for seascapes. Still experimenting with them, finger marks on freezing cold mornings are not helping with good results. :o
