Hello all.... As my name will probably tell I live in Tasmania. I am a "mature age student" but still keen to learn about photography techniques. I have a couple of cameras, nothing "serious top end" but I luv them all the same. My main camera I bought second hand is an Olympus E520, this link will tell you about it My Olympus E520 (http://dansonpark.com/?p=412) on my website. I also have (actually I gave it to the missus) an Olympus UZ800 which is featured on the same page. I have been taking shots for years now, some good (I think) ;) and some pretty ordinary. I have found it difficult to get advice as I guess others have found so thought I would join up with you people so I can "pick you brains" You can do likewise but there is not much up there. :o We are heading off to South East Asia soon with both above cameras and a couple of videos cameras. With admins consent you can see our reasons and why we have not gone yet here Wandering Wombats (http://wanderingwombats.net/) . We really want to take some great shots when we go and thought this would be a good place to find out what we need to do to improve our picture taking.

Thanks for the welcome guys :) Have put a couple of photos (orchids) in the CC forums but as for competition LOL I am here to learn, not show "how good I am" LOL (not) :lol:
