off to France in October

i am going to France at the end of October. will arrive in Paris and meet up with my twin sister and celebrate our 70th
birthday then go down to a placev called Tours about 2 hours south of Paris by VFT.
is anyone familiar with this area in regard to photo ops?

I got in trouble with my photos in Paris as they are nearly all abstract.

The lamp posts are at the louvre, only picture i have louvre is a blur in the background of another.
so sorry don't think i can really help either.
