Hi All,

Just joined today after following links to articles on the use of the Nikon 70-200 f2.8 with the new Nikon 2X teleconverter. I was just wondering if anyone has tried the combination on the Nikon 7100 with the 1/3 crop setting active. In particular what sort of IQ is obtained?

I haven't got that particular lens but have used the 1.3 option on the D7100 and it doesn't affect IQ, it's basically just cropping in camera to me. You do lose some pixels but that's from the surrounding area just as if you'd cropped PP.
