A friend at work referred me here so I have summed and joined. I have always loved photography but it got put on the back burner for years as other things took over, after having my son last year and wanting to get better pictures of him I decided it was time to actually buy a better camera and I remembered how much I love it, so here I am hoping to improve :)

Welcome! There's plenty of information and advice available here. Don't be shy in asking questions and poking about the threads, reading and looking at what others have done. After a while throw a picture or two up in the Beginners section or check out some of the challenges on had (I'm finding this a lot of fun).

Still has one nap a day and there is always the way to short lunch break at work :p
