If having access to internet and cell phones is civilisation, then I am back in it. And now I can post a thread to reinstate full access. What interests me mostly is viewing competition entries. I never cease to be amazed by the ability and artistry of so many members.

100922100923Your waiting is over! These paintings were north of Cooktown, and only separated by about 80k, and yet the style is so very different. If you find them interesting, I can share many more with you. Both are fine examples of very early digital images. They were painted with fingers. Perhaps you may agree with me that the artists were in their own way more civilised than you or I. regards marty.

Ta, and your take on early (presti-)digitis(-ation) is not off. In the 2nd pic, there is a feature in the rock wall that looks "face-like".
Look in the lower 1/4, just past 1/2 way.
Am.

Thanks Am, never noticed it before. It looks a bit like me when I am puzzled, as I am by your "(presti-)digitis(-ation) comment. I suspect that it is a clever play on words, could you please give me a clue. regards marty.

Hah! Sure, just drop the "presti". Clever? You're too kind. :( for the confusion.
