Hi, my name is Ben Kopilow and I have been a professional photographer for just over 10 year. I was born in Canberra and have spent my whole life here where I run my wedding studio Fusion Photography. I started out selling my art and nature work through stock libraries but now weddings, portraiture & events are my core business. However I still also enjoy shooting nature, landscapes, travel and theatre.
I am actively involved in the professional photography community through my association with the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (AIPP). I have been a member for about 6 or 7 years and have served as the ACT division president for the last 3 years. I have also been a judge for the Canberra marathon and the Canberra Photographic Society as well as a guest lecturer and industry advisor for the photography department of the Canberra Institute of Technology. I shoot with Nikon gear (D3s/D4, 70-200 f/2.8, 14-24, 35 F/1.4, 85 F/1.4, 105 Macro etc) and use Apple gear from my post-production (Aperture/Photoshop CS6)
