Tring again to get into this hobby

Im back for a 3rd time.
Well ive free up my time a bit, so i filled it with my photography. hoping i dont drift away again.

I thought to help/force myself to get back into it i would eneter the SMH 1440photo challenge.

Well if you have to force yourself you made need to think do you really want this as a hobby. I fr you want to improve your photography you need to be interested and inspired. Learn all you can and get out there and practise.
#1 is quite good, having some depth drawing your eye into it. Perhaps you could crop it a bit to lose the out of focus foreground. #2 is nice and sharp with good colour, but needs a person or something to give it some meaning.

Staying active is easy and fun, just post an image for CC once a fortnight and
post 2 or 3 CC comments to other images in the same fortnight.
