View Full Version : Nikon - Canon Equivalents
Hi all,
I was wondering what the Canon equivalent (if that is the right term) would be for the following Nikon's:
D5100
D5200
D7000
I was thinking they would be:
EOS 600D
EOS 60D
EOS 7D
Thanks
Neil

Thanks for that Mary Anne.
Yes, I've been doing a bit more research. I've just been looking at Nikons so far, and I thought I'd better look at the Canons as well. I wanted to make sure I was comparing apples with apples, or as close as possible.

Just wondering, where does the Canon EOS 650D fit in amongst those?

No idea Neil sorry.
It's a bit tricky to compare directly but as a guide:
Entry level: Canon xxxxD and xxxD vs Nikon D3xxx and D5xxx
Enthusiast level: Canon xxD and 7D vs Nikon D7xxx and D300
Entry level Full frame: Canon 6D vs Nikon D600
Enthusiast level full frame: Canon 5D series vs Nikon D700/D800
Pro level: Canon 1 series vs Nikon Dx (single digit).

Thanks Swifty, I'll use that as a guide.
