I am a new to this site but have been practising photography for a few years on film and now DSLR. Looking for practical hints and support for improving my skills. I live in Victoria and photograph outdoors mainly, especially on holidays where the camera becomes the first item put in the car.
I used Pentax ME Super for many years and I purchased my first DSLR in 2009. A Pentax istD with 50mm lens and Sigma 170-500 zoom. I have use the telephoto for wildlife shots which are my first priority. Landscapes and people are other subjects I like to capture just to see if I can fluke an interesting "angle" or moment. Have done a few photobooks with some good and not so good images but always try to make them interesting for anyone to look over.
Look forward to what ausphotography has to offer. Mitzy.
