Hi all

Just a bit about me. I was a professional photographer with own darkroom back in the mid 80's to early 90's, Weddings/Portraits/Corporate and specialist Black & White darkroom work. This photography was a supplement to my work as a Car & Wagon Builder in the NSW Railway, until retrenched in 1993, then my main job till I took on University and completed a Degree in Visual Arts majoring in Photography. I then completed a Diploma of Education Secondary, then all but completed a 2nd Degree in Design & Technology.

I have had 8 exhibitions before landing a full time job teaching, and ran my darkroom, often printing large format fibre prints for other professionals as well as my own work.

I was then given a job as a teacher (Art) in the newly formed Dubbo College, but on my first day, before any students came the next day, was told I would only have one Year 7 art class, that I'd be teaching computing, woodwork, design & technology and electronics.

Ended up teaching nothing but computing ending up at the Senior Campus teaching years 10 to 12 all computing disciplines.

Well, long story cut short, the Union mucked our college and my job was axed and am now looking at teaching Art full time at the Junior Campus (something I'm not at all comfortable with) as I've been teaching nothing but computing for the last 11 years.

I'm a keen photographer still, especially now it's back as just a hobby, and love taking landscapes, close up nature, sky scapes and love street photography when able.

I've included some of my latest photography just to show where my interests lay.
