My name is Rebecca and i am from the port stephens area. I have just recived a camera as a birthday present for my hubby. I really enjoy taking photos, but really dont know what im doing. i took a short course to get a better understanding of all the terminology, which helped, but still got a long way to go. The camera i am using is a canon 50D with a 50mm lens. I enjoy taking landscape and animal photos, look forward to sharing photos and hopefully getting some help.

Hi Bec Glad you made it to the forum,you have done well with your first post.I like the reflections in the water,I find the foreground a bit distracting mainly because it is out of focus.That said it is a good composition the position of the horizon is spot on for me.
