Another newby

I am a newby to this site and also a newby to photography, so am looking for support in improving my skills.:2smile:

I purchased my first DSLR in August last year, a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55 kit lens, and a 55-300mm f4.5-5.6. I recently purchased a 50mm f1.8 (had this since Christmas) and an 18-55 f2.8 which I have only had for 2 weeks. Until now, I have pretty much used the telephoto lens as my 'walkabout' lens and love it as I love to photograph animals.


I have taken a few photos over the past couple of weeks with the new lenses and am amazed at the difference in quality compared to the kit lens. Looking forward to getting out and about and posting some photos for cc.
