Power was restored early this afternoon so I had a chance to download the shots. Some are from late yesterday directly after the storm and others from this morning.

1 Public primary School had a deal of damage

7 The next lot are shots of a commercial shed roof that blew about 60 mtrs over the top of the workshop on to the western highway exit in town, took a power pole down with it and leaving power lines scattered and a work ute crushed by a tree.

13 When I walk past a chuch, this happens. Imagine what happens when I walk into a church.

#5 is great with the chips flying.
I think Eric needs some mechanical work himself.
I don't mean to sound blasé but having been in the SES for 15 years I have seen this and more.
It is great you survived but greater that you had the presence of mind to get out there and record it.
Congratulations. :efelant::efelant::efelant:

Thanks for sharing, Mother nature can really put it on at times.
Trees can be trimmed and grow back.
Sheds and houses can be rebuilt.
But peoples lives can't be bought back.
As heartbreaking as it is to see such damage hopefully everyone is safe and being a country town everyone will pull together and help out.

Thanks people. Numerous chainsaws, trucks and trailers were out and about within ten mins. clearing roads and footpaths.
