The swell charts that I look at , Say by next Sunday a 4mtr swell will be here , Been waiting for this to come in towards us , They just generally generate a good size swell for the Boardriders and Photographers :2smile:

????? Swellnet says flat as a millpond. http://www.swellnet.com.au/reports/coolangatta/daily But, 0ft waves just don't make sense, so maybe 12ft is possible. I'll keep an eye on the updates.

I've checked a few different sites including http://www.bom.gov.au/australia/charts/viewer/index.shtml?domain=combinedW&type=sigWaveHgt
and none (except willyweather) predict good waves on Sunday. Perhaps the owner has "gone surfing".
edit - though perhaps there could be some good swell a little North.

I'm still wondering, William. No reports that I see even get to 2m by Sunday. Lots of people out there, but nothing really good.

It's good at Snapper Rocks, The Ocean swell may not be 2mtrs , But the wave face is on the take off , Note #2 , Mind you some people measure the wave from the back of the swell , I measure the size from the front as you paddle up to it :2smilS:

That makes a big difference. Swell height is measured when the wave isn't breaking. Good surf, like at present, can break at a lot more that the swell height. 4m is a serious wave and few surfers will dare go out in it. Great for photography though.
