Hi all,

New user from Far North Queensland here :). I've had a Nikon D3100 for a while but am still working out all the functions - so many options! I recently got myself an extension tube and am starting to get the hang of it :). I hope to learn heaps here.

Probably the best way to learn a lot about your camera specifically and photography in general is to join in, post a few images for critique and to offer your opinions on other peoples work.

Thanks everyone, I will put some pics up later on. At the moment I'm just playing around with things, and unfortunately Santa did not bring me a tripod, so it's all handheld or a really dodgy mini plastic tripod that Mum got as a freebie with something.
