Living in Perth, Motorbikes and RC cars is my passion and been filming and making videos for the last 10years+

Recently jumped away from point and shoot still camera and thought id jump in the deep end and get a DSLR , Been playing around with a Nikon D7000 for the last 6 months or so and collected a few good 2.8 lens's along the way.. found a 2nd hand 28-70mm 2.8 early on after realizing the 18-105mm was holding me back for action photos and last month or so ago brought the VRII 70-200mm 2.8mm.

Welcome to AP eichkay, pull up a chair and join in.

With your video expertise you may be able to help a few people out out who have bought "modern day" DSLRs and have NO idea about video ( myself included ) and seeing as they have it they may as well use it. :D

Welcome, and looking forward to seeing some photos.

I am down Bunbury way but there are some great Photography groups around Perth so linking up with one of them may be beneficial as well, for you and for them.
