An Australian Psychiatrist attended an industry conference in Salt Lake City, Utah.
After the conference he was invited to tour a local Psychiatric Institution.
As he went around the various areas of the Institution he saw many new and varied treatments in progress.
Many of these he knew of, or had read about, in the latest research journals.
However, as he went past one room, he saw a large group of the patients all standing to one side, all singing beautifully, but as they sang they held an apple in their hand, and were tapping on the apple with a stick.
He was completely at a loss to identify what this treatment was, so he asked one of the people taking him on the tour what it was all about.
The person looked perplexed for a moment, and said to him, "That's not a treatment." and then asked him,
"Haven't you ever heard of the 'Moron Tap-an-apple Choir?"
(I'm sorry, I couldn't resist such a bad pun. Hopefully you'll one day forgive me)
Well, that is until I post the next one.
