I am taking up photography again after making a beginning at it in the early 1960s (Pentax S3, normal lens plus 300mm tele) Then, it was all about sports action and the exotic people of the remoter parts of New Guinea, now its about portraits, buildings, objects, textures and shapes, and landscapes, hence the 28mm and 50mm (to be joined by a really wide but rectilinear) but no tele or macro. I'll see how I go. Maybe I'll be kicked up to intermediate by the moderator if my old skills come back to me.

Welcome to AP and back to photography, and yes we constantly look at members and upgrade them as needed, but you are also free to upgrade yourself as well.
