Hi all.
I've finally gone digital.
Started when I was a youngen with an Olympus OM1n, 50mm f1.8/85-250mm f5 (still have them)
and then got a Rolleiflex 2.8gx (sold a long time ago, sigh).
Jumped ship to Canon in the late 90's with an EOS 3, up until about 6 months ago.
Shot 95% 35 and 120 slide film.
I was finally at a point when I was happy to jump to digital.
Recently grabbed a 5DmkIII with a 24-105mm f4.
I'm still trying to get my head around the fact that I can shoot more than 36 frames, without changing film.
And what is with this high ISO stuff? My head is spinning.
The crazier part is that since I've purchased this fan dangled digital thingie, my 9 year old daughter has used it more than me. I'm lucky if I've shot off more than a dozen exposures, lol.
Anyhoo, as I'm now retired, I've got a bit more time on my hands, but I thought I'd join this stalwart community so you lot can teach me about this amazing digital stuff.
