Hi,:gday: although a ‘newbie’to this forum I’m not new to Photography. I live in a northern seaside suburb ofWollongong and have belonged to the local camera club for the past three years,having moderate success in our monthly competitions. I’m a Pentax user, obtaining my first SLR (aMG) back in 1983, and switched to DSLR in 2007 with the K100D. I prefer shooting sea and landscapes and haverecently taken an interest in time-lapse and video photography.
I use ‘PhotoshopElements 11’ for post processing images and ‘Cyberlink – PowerDirector 11’ tocreate slideshows and DVD presentations. Looking forward to entering competitions andgetting good advice on improving my photography skills from other photographerswithin Australia. :)

Hi welcome to the forum. i visit the northern beaches around The Gong often as my son and family are at Wombarra beach. I cant wait to get back down there to take surfing and seascape shots as well as my beloved birds.
