Hi Everyone,
New to the Aus Photograpy forum. I jumped from a point and click waterproof camera straight into a Canon 7D... fairly full on and expensive move I know. However when I do things, I generally go all out and get adicted. It also covers numerous reasons why I wanted a good camera- making kayak movies (https://vimeo.com/30757145), taking action shots of our kayaking (fast frame rate helps a bunch with this) plus general landscape and portrait photos...
Anyway, excited to get right into the forum, enter some comps, and get some feedback on some of my photos.
Cheers!

Thanks guys! So far from my brief browsing, and the positive replies here I am looking forward to being a part of this community! Also will hopefully be entering a few comps and getting some feedback on some of my photos (once I figure it all out, this site is still quite confusing to me. haha).
Thanks!

..... and getting some feedback on some of my photos (once I figure it all out, this site is still quite confusing to me. haha).

It all takes a little time. Don't hold back asking if you need something figured out for you regarding how to do something here. Site Matters will get a pretty good response. ......http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/forumdisplay.php?8-Site-Matters
More specific. This is a guide to starting and linking photos to threads ... http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showlibrary.php?title=How_Do_I:How_to_post_and_link_your_photos_into_forum_threads
And the New to Photography CC (Beginners) is a fairly calm place to start with some photos ...http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/forumdisplay.php?177-New-to-Photography-CC-%28Beginners%29

And then there's ........ plenty more.:D
