Hi there,
My name is Eric Murano. I've been a photography enthusiast since 2006.
I love photography but I go through phases where I get frustrated and leave it for months or even years.
Right now I'm looking to practise more and hone my technical skills. During 2009 and 2010 I was building a portfolio of environmental portraits and shooting weddings for free**. For every shoot I organised I would be at a loss when it came time to pose the subjects. I could never come up with shot ideas on the spot and all the ideas I would come up with days before would evaporate from my head on the day of the shoot.
What I think I need to do is practise. I should stop focusing on 'portfolio building' and instead focus on practise.
Anyway see you on the forum :)

** for couples that were not going to have a photographer anyway, so I don't think I was stealing established photographers' lunches
