New to photography

Hi all, I'm new to photography. Always was interested in it, always questioned how do they do that? But didn't have a chance to get my hands on it.
Recently bought a DSLR (Canon 60D twin lens). Now eager to see If i can do that as well :)
Looking forward to get to know many of you, share my photos, get you guidance.

Welcome to the place Mr Peanut! :D

While I have always been the 'photographer' in the family, all I have ever done is point and shoot. Since joining this site the friendly people here have been heaps helpful helping me learn how to not just shoot, but to think about the shot first. I've been slowly learning, and I am sure you will pick up heaps here too!
