Hi everyone,
I have just upgraded from my trusty Pentax istD to a Canon 5d Mk111:)
Getting ready for trip to Canada at Christmas Thence Silk Rd for 4 months in May so will need to get to know this beastie quite quickly!
I am open to any tips or reccomendations
Camera came with 24-105 lens and I have ordered 100-400 L series
Lowepro trekker 400 Back pack

Hello Bob and Welcome to AP.. Good choice of gear I have the MK 11 + kit lens + a few more :D
Best way to get tips is to post your photos on the forums for cc, so I will look forward to seeing them..
