Another Newbie

Hi I have just gone out and brought a DSLR and I have discovered that, to Quote a well known german prison guard "I know Nothing" about this new world of Digital Photography!
Many years ago I used to do lots of picture taking with a trusty Canon AE 35mm. It was great, take a pic,get it devepoped and that was it....But now! well Photography seems almost a IT science.
I am looking forward to learning and developing the many Skills require to do this art justice

Maybe have a look at the New to Photography (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showlibrary.php?title=Indexes:New_To_Photography_Book) book and the Learning Plan in the book.

Principles are the same - you just get to play more than we did back then :) Welcome to AP, have fun and dive in head first, you will find many here who are willing and able to help :)
