Hi all!

I have found my way to this board via recommendation from a colleague (thanks Wayne63) and am looking forward to improving my photography skills and knowledge. Up to a couple of weeks ago I was using an Sony A100, however it did not survive a recent close encounter with my 2.5 year old son and will not power on at all.

I wasn't overly concerned though, as my replacement budget covered a Canon 650D and Tamron 18-200 'walkabout' lens. I think they should address my current needs and have some scope for future upgrades.

Anyway, that's enough about me... I look forward to becoming part of this active and passionate community. :th3:
