Hi from The Shire

Hi there everyone. My name is Shanel and I live in the beautiful Sutherland Shire just south of Sydney. I've always loved photography and the amazing moments and memories photographs can capture. I started off with a sony compact and then moved onto a larger Sony, not compact but not slr. I've now stepped it up and purchased a Canon 7D with 50mm prime lens and 18-270mm. Really looking forward to reading lots of informative posts on here and making some new friends. I would also like to know if there's anyone in the Sydney area close to me with a 7D or similar that would be intersted in giving me a couple of private lessons so I can get a graspe of the basics.

Welcome to AP. Join in, if you want to learn how to use your camera, then reading the manual is a good place to start, then click on Library, on our main menu and click 'new to photography'
