Hi all,

I actually stumbled upon this site looking for prices on second hand lenses, but reading the info for beginners was more than enough to get me to sign up :)

I've been interested in photography for a while as it seems like a much more 'true' sort of art form than a lot of others, and have been keen to get into it for a while. Since it looks like i might be heading overseas to Turkey some time soon to live for a year I bought an OM-D and a normal lens about a month ago and have been playing around with it, since I'd quite like to take some decent photos while I'm over there.

I'm probably most interested in getting involved in street photography, but wouldn't really know where to start! I'm not quite at the level of confidence yet to walk up to someone and stick a camera in their face..

A few photos I've grabbed that seemed to turn out well, though I think it's more due to having an expensive lens than any talent I have..
