Hello, I'm Merv.

I first caught the photography bug in the mid '80s. Had a couple of film SLRs & various lenses back then but never went as far as messing about in darkrooms. Lost the bug for a while then caught it again (for life I suspect) in 2005 when I bought my first dSLR. The potential of digital photography simply amazes me - I don't miss film one bit!

My main photographic interest is nature - wildlife, landscapes, sky, seascapes, little details.

I'll take a while to have a good look around & get used to the site. Hope to post something soon.
