Hi All,

New to AP, not really that new to photography.

I have a Nikon D800, a couple of lenses. A Dynamic Perceptions Stage Zero Dolly has arrived in the last week. I also have a telescope and camera on order, replacing some pretty fancy gear.

Main interests are astrophotography, timelapse and motorsport.

Looking forward to some CC on my photos.

Cheers
Stuart

Hi and welcome to the forum. Enjoy the D800, from what I have heard they are a great camera.

Hi Stuart, and welcome.

Hmm, I would have thought you'd go for a Sony DSLR, so you could have an Alpha on your avatar here as well!

Cheers,
Jason.

Oops, I have a D300 (wish I had a D800, my sister just bought one). I love the D300, best camera I have had for ages (since my first SLR, an Olypmus OM-10), the D800 would be special though.

I've already posted one photo in the Sport and Action section asking for help with something, which has been answered. Great service! Awaiting Flickr upload before posting some more.

Cheers
Stuart

Hi Mary Anne,

I have just uploaded a video of my first real go at time-lapse to Youtube, I also posted a link in the forum, have a look if you're interested.

Cheers
