I am new and this is my first post

Hello,
My name is Heather, I am new to this site however I have been registered on it for over 12 months, just not got up the courage to post anything. I just recently joined the TTG Camera Club in Adelaide and am currently undertaking a course in getting to know my camera which hopefully will help me to feel comfortable with posting photos I have taken. I feel rather inadequate because of my lack of knowledge in this field. I have always had an interest in photography but have only just recently decided to pursue it further.
I enjoy night time indoor sport, macro and portrait photography.
