As a MINI fan I was sent this but it turned out more interesting than expected as I was studying the setup.

Thought others might be interested in what goes into getting that one, car shot and the rig's/lighting involved!

I would have seriously underestimated the effort involved for pic.
Would be great to have their budget! :)
Thanks for post.

Err... but it's an amazing photo AND (as far as I am concern) BMW is making good money with their mini series....

Yes it's a great photo, but looks kind of CGI to me. Probably would have cost them far less to actually create it using a computer as well.

car photo shots tend to look CGI if you are able to eliminate all the light reflections. I gave it a go once... and it was horrible and so very difficult. There's a good reason they don't just set up some strobes and flash away...

its funny folks complain about photoshopped photos, then when someone puts the effort into getting a decent shot in camera, folks complain about the effort made. by the way this is standard fare in commercial photography and probably quite cost effective in relative of course. good results

I'd really like to know how to get my photo's to have that look. Ive looked around but cant seem to find a workflow that describes it.

I did it myself. But I am poor at wording so showing you would be easier.
