Fiery intro

Hi, new to these forums& nearly new to Photography. Have a canon 7D & enjoy using it on anything, mainly birds of which I get to see quite a few nearly everyday due to my reasonably isolated location (64Klms south Hobart).
Am eagerly awaiting the release of the 1D-X which I'm hopefully going to buy if it's ever released. If anyone has info on availability and price would appreciate it. Info on posting photo's would also be appreciated as all this is new to me.
