I am casting about for opinions on the quality of this item, hopefully from someone who has one here.
At $275 I don't want to be getting something dudful.
Here's some info: http://www.sigmaphoto.com/shop/20x-teleconverter-ex-apo-dg-sigma
but some experience and the odd pic with it would be nice.

This is a good tele converter that is made for Sigmas high end f2.8 lenses. Don't be suprised if it does not work on other lenses.
For this item you will want to order it locally on the condition it works with your camer and lens. Take them both into the shop when you
pick it up and test the auto focus. This pretty much applies for any tele converter.

Thanks, Film Street. I will certainly buy locally, as it's the best price I've seen so far.
From other sources I have also heard that it's a good TC.
Now, all I have to do is wait 4 it to arrive.

You could have bought both the 2X and the 1.4X from site sponsor eGlobal and had change.

Hmm! But I'm open to suggestions, and this one is intriguing. As it is, I can still cancel. (Who couldn't?)
I've been to their site and tried a few searches for the said items, scoring zero/null/empty set.
Can you provide a more substantial link, Keith, as I'm interested.

OK. Thanks and thanks, Keith for those links. I checked them out and (ALAS! Woe! And as always!) they do not cater for a Sigma mount:(:(:(:(
Why say "Am", when b:(:(=h:(:( will do!!!
(PS: Thanks for the "notional" savings.)

Bad luck about that AM. You could try sending them a message inquiring re Sigma mount.
