Hi,

New member from Adelaide. I've always enjoyed photography but definitely consider myself a beginner. My first introduction to SLRs was when I picked up a Pentax K1000 about 12 years ago and mucked around with it to learn the basics.

Eventually I sold my SLR gear and promised myself I'd upgrade to a DSLR.. many things happened since then but getting a DSLR didnt.. until a few weeks ago when I managed to convince my wife to let me get a D5100 to help her with product photos (to minimise post work). So I'm back to having fun with an slr again :).

Anyway, I'm sure I'll see everyone around a lot more.
