D 800E Resolution Samples

Story Bridge taken on Wednseday about 20min after sunset with the D800E and a Zeiss 21mm.

Here's a few crops showing - the rivets/boltheads at the top of the right hand tallest upright of the bridge; the sign on top of the tallest building:a boat moored where the riverside lighting starts along the right bank.

The aperture used was not optimal and neither was the processing due to my unfamiliarity with Lightroom and sharpening these files etc.

Thanks Bob for sharing, I have put in an order for one at my local camera store. I know I can get it for less from overseas like Hong Kong etc but even though we pay a premium I still believe in supporting the local guy. These are great resolution by the way. I expect that when I get mine I will need to buy bigger disks to store the images on. Congrats on your purchase the rest of us are jealous.

im jealous but i like it wonder if they can increase the speed on the next camera that comes out :)
