A quick introduction, I'm in my sixties, live in far north Qld and shoot with nikon gear.

Welcome aboard, Scratch. There's quite a few of us "grey ghosts" around here so you'll fit right in! You don't say how much photography you've done previously but have classified yourself as "Intermediate". I take that to mean you have a good grasp of the basics and are looking to take it further. I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for here. I look forward to seeing some of your images in the main forums. :cool:
