Hi, I'm the new guy (I think?). :gday::crike:
I'm from the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne (near the Oakleigh/Chadstone area) and am new to these forums. I think a few members here might know me from another photography forum/flickr/whirlpool.
While I'm not overly new to photography, I also don't take my photography too seriously though am always trying to get better photos. Started photography mostly as a way to get away from the computer and get myself outdoors exploring more.
My favourite places to take photos tends to be along the coast from Brighton Beach all the way down to Portsea (and Point Nepean) as it's quite close to where I live. Once in awhile, I'll go the other direction from Brighton and walk towards St Kilda.
In the past I was also into the whole off camera/small light (aka strobist) thing as well. Haven't done any of that for at least a year, but with the recent crappy weather might be something to experiment with whilst indoors :)
As for gear, I shoot with a Nikon D300s with a variety of lenses. Current lens of the moment is my new 85mm f/1.8 G.
Oh, and I think there's no such thing as too many lenses :P
A friend recently asked me how many lenses I had, though I don't own too many I was actually surprised by the final count. Realised I had more than I remembered :D
TL;DR: Hi. I'm Will, from Melbourne and I like to take photos of "stuff" :)
