Hello - I'm from Melbourne and joined this forum to get a feel for current practice in the Australian photography scene. I am setting up my own imaging business after a 10 year break from photography. I'm interested in favourite labs, printing / production trends, and other operational aspects of current commercial photographic practice.
I just got back from a trade show and I'm feeling rather overwhelmed - for example, the diversity of inkjet papers and printing techniques... from someone who grew up only having the choice of Type C glossy or pearl! And what are these LED light things people keep shining at me? ;)
