Evening viewers

Hello all,
I have just found this site and had to get on board.
i did photography at school years ago but spent more time in the dark room 'developing' with my then girlfriend (now wife). 20 years and three kids later I still have a keen interest in photography. I enjoy numerous outdoor pursuits and always have either the Canon G9, 40D, or HF-G10 close at hand to capture the action and memories.

I keep a close eye on the DPReview website but am glad to have found this Oz based forum.

I'm hoping to improve my photo taking with the 40D with a better lens. Hopefully I can show my photograpic improvements along the way.
