Hello from Brisbane based newbie

Hi all, My name is Euan, I was quite active with film years ago, and then cost and family :action: took over.
Last year I bought a Nikon D5100 thinking i could use my old Nikkor lenses only to find the metering didn't work through the lens:devil1:. So I grinned and bared it. Then the wife borrowed the D5100 for a Conference event and was rapped with the photo quality. So new lens (18-105) bought and the wife :love: took the D5100 and I got a new D7000!! :party7:

I can now say the D5100 is my choice of Intermediate level camera!!:th3:

Now slowly remembering composition and story telling in simple images...
The light where, how much, the shadows, dynamic range...:lol:

I still travel alot in Asia and will be heading back to live in Jakarta again soon..:aaa::angel7:
