Greetings All, I am a hobby Photographer who got their first DSLR about 2.4 years ago, a Canon 500D, to take photos at Martial Arts competitions. I have been training in Karate for about 18 years, teaching for 12 years and officiating at Martial Tournaments for 8 years. I have also been involved in the Dog Show World since 1978 and I used to breed and show Cocker Spaniels. These days my activity is limited to stewarding at Shows as the last of my dogs passed away about 5 years ago. I started taking photographs at Shows about 18 months ago and recently aquired a Canon 7D as my main camera. I am starting to take the photography side a bit more seriously now, hence my joining this Forum to learn how to best set up and use my camera for the best results. Regards, Peter
