Super Moon over the Hunter

:gday: Short notice, I know, but just making my fellow Hunter AP members aware that the Super Moon will rise tonight and I plan on being out there to get a shot!

For those interested, I will be shooting from the Swansea-Belmont surf club at Blacksmiths Beach, purely because the Photographer's Ephemeris says the Super Moon should rise right behind Moon Island! Now that's an event I wouldn't like to miss capturing. :D

Of course I could have kept my plans to myself, but that's not my nature. :p Anyone care to join me? ;)

Just to whet the appetite of any Hunter APers who may be thinking of joining me, here are scouting shots of the 3 possible locations for this evening's shoot.

Note that the first two locations are preferred for moonrise today. Reid's Mistake reserve is locked at 5:30pm which doesn't leave much pack up time after the moon hits its peak at around 5:12pm.

PS. I will be at the main beach surf club car park from around 4:30pm.
