Hi from a DSLR Newbie

Hello Everyone,

I am based on the Gold Coast and signed up to the forum to try and advance my skills using the Canon 500D that I have.

The DSLR is a bit overwhelming as I have come from a point and shoot camera, so there are many new things that I have to learn and read about. So I figured this would be a good place to start.

My Pack consists of the following
Canon 500D with EF S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 IS lens, EIS F S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 lens, EF 50mm f/1.8 II, tripod

Main interests in photography would be landscapes.

Anyway look forward to sharing some photos when I get better acquainted with the camera.

Hi Jason , Welcome to AP , I'm on the Southern end , You will learn heaps on this site , Looking forward to seeing some shots from you in the main CC forums , Plenty of Seascapers/Landscapers to help you here as well , Always good to check the Members meet thread in the forum :)
